I spent three weeks here and it was an incredible first experience. Anne-Marie and Verner are lovely hosts, always kind and ready to help. We only worked mornings, with a variety of tasks. The setting is beautiful, with a large lake nearby, and it's easy to get to Copenhagen by bus in your free time. The meals are very good and the food is excellent. Despite my limited English, Anne-Marie and Verner were always patient with me, helping me improve and making me feel comfortable.

Anne-Marie and Verner were wonderful hosts. Everything went very well from beginning to end. I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The meals were delicious and always shared in a warm, friendly atmosphere with great conversations. Many thanks for this wonderful woofing experience !

Wwoofing at Bellingehus for 1,5 month was a lovely first experience overall. Verner and Anne Marie are great hosts and they make you feel like part of the family. The daily tasks were varied, mostly repetitive but very fulfilling and all are done in an amazingly beautiful landscape with the sound of birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees (sometimes faraway thunder too). A big lake and forest are very close, so there are many options for hiking, biking and swimming. Two cute little villages can also be found in walking distance. Our meals were mostly organic and delicious, and the Aeblemost addictively good. The wwoofer rooms are spacious, functional, decorated simply and beautifully. One of the most moving experiences was joining a group of local organic farmers and friends for the Midsummer celebration. To me this was a glimpse of what unites the Danes with their land and each other: eating home made food, dancing, group singing and playing games under a cold cloudy sky, by the burning fire. Thank you Anne Marie and Verner for all of this :)

Thanks again Verner and Ana Maria for this wonderful 1st experience. It was a pleasure working in the mornings with you, and so peaceful to be part of your life. It felt like home. Future Wwoofers, you should definitely meet this open-minded and warm family. They’ll share their knowledge easily and you will learn a lot about biodynamic farming. And life in Denmark.

A great family for woofing, we only work in the morning and I enjoyed working in the orchard and tending the apple trees. Despite my poor level of English, they were very friendly and helped me to improve. Thanks again, it was great to spend 1 month with them.

I had an amazing time on this farm! It was a pleasure to work on the apple trees, share meals with the family, and visit the local area. A very warm welcome, and a place to remember
