Welcome to Soul Farm, our small family homestead close to the sea in rural Denmark. We are Oussi, Dhala, Luna, Alma and dog Emma! After years of travelling the world ourselves we’ve landed in this beautiful place, constantly bringing our vision to life.
Soul Farm grew slowly out of a simple idea: to create a place where food, family life and meaningful work come together. A place where things grow — vegetables, projects, ideas and hopefully also community.
We live here with our two young daughters (almost 3 and 1.5 years old), our dog, bees and many projects that keep evolving year by year.
Life here is beautiful, but also busy. Between family life, the land and the guest cabins there is always something to take care of.

The place
Our land is slowly turning into a small farm.
We grow vegetables, experiment with regenerative gardening and work with the rhythms of the seasons as much as possible. The garden is still evolving and there is always something happening there — planting, harvesting, building beds or trying new ideas.
We also keep bees and harvest honey during the season.
Another part of life here is making small farm products for our little farm shop — things like herbal teas, soaps, candles and honey.
At the same time we host guests in several small cabins on the land, which is part of how we support this project financially.
⸻
The reality of life here
Soul Farm is first and foremost a family home.
With two small children and several guest cabins, daily life includes many different tasks. Some days are relaxed, others are busy — just like in any real household and farm.
We try to keep a good rhythm between work, family life and shared meals, but this is not a retreat or a holiday place. It is a place where real life happens.
We usually ask for around 5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week.
The help is quite varied and often includes a mix of:
• spending time with the kids and helping with childcare
• cleaning and preparing the guest cabins between guests
• laundry and simple household tasks
• occasional help in the garden or with small projects on the land
Some weeks involve more work with the cabins, others more time outside in the garden — it depends on the season and what is needed.
For us it is important to find people who are comfortable with this mix and who enjoy being part of everyday life.

Daily life
A typical day often starts with breakfast before everyone moves into their tasks for the day.
Depending on the day this might mean garden work, helping with the cabins, small projects around the land or spending time with the kids.
In the evenings we often cook together and enjoy the quiet of the countryside. When the weather is good we sit outside, sometimes with food from the garden, and enjoy the big sky and the silence.
You will stay in a small private cabin on the land, surrounded by nature.
The farm is located in a quiet rural area with wild landscapes and the sea not far away.
Many people say that the rhythm of this place helps them slow down and reconnect with nature.
⸻
Who fits well here
Soul Farm works best for people who:
• enjoy nature and simple living
• feel comfortable around small children
• don’t mind practical tasks like cleaning and household work
• like using their hands and helping where needed
• appreciate a slower rhythm of life
Length of stay
Ideally we are looking for people who would like to stay at least a few months, so they can really settle into the rhythm of the place.
In addition, we offer a small monthly allowance and the possibility to earn additional income by helping develop and sell products from the farm.
We see Soul Farm as a growing project and are happy to share opportunities with people who want to contribute and stay longer.
As a sailor, journalist and Yoga teacher we love to connect, share our passions and bring the world home.
If Soul Farm sounds like a place you would enjoy, write to us and tell us a little about yourself, your experience and what draws you here.
