We are three friends, Benjamin, Frede and Sabine, who met at an organic farming school in Denmark, and now in our first season of running a small market garden. We are passionate about growing healthy food and soil. We have rented 1 ha of land for the production, and we live on the neighbor farm with our cats and chickens.
Our typical farm activities are seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting sometimes building and fixing things and you would be included in all parts if you desire. If you have a specific skill or interest, we are open to find a project for you.
On work days we typically have lunch together and most nights we will also cook and eat dinner together. We will all take part in this. Accomodation will be in a caravan in our garden and you are free to use kitchen, bathroom and living room in the main house. You are free to use all the veggies you want from the field, and we will supply with basic groceries.
We are 6 km from the beach, and within 10 kms distance there is plenty of hiking routes. The city of Horsens is 12 kms away where you'll find cafés, shops, bars etc. We can provide bikes and potentially a car if it fits our schedule.
We like cooking together or having a barbecue, making bonfires, walks in the forrests, playing games etc.
This is our first time hosting, but we have plenty of wwoofing experience ourselves, and would love to hopefully give others a great experience just like we've had.
