Juelie was a gracious host and the land is beautiful. The wood huts offer solitude and quiet, and the guest house is wonderful for cooking and bathing in the winter. There was plenty of work to do, and i learned how to do new things such as build brick walls. Juelie’s cooking is also delicious.

I had a lovely stay at Stengården for the 3.5 weeks I was here!! I learned so much, and met amazing people along the way. Definitely an experience that I would recommend! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with everyone & being taught more about the specifics of working on an organic farm. The atmosphere was incredible, as was the environment. Thank you so much!

I had a great time on Jasper’s farm. He, his lovely kids, and the cutest dog ever made me feel welcome from the start. The work was good and not too difficult. My main job was looking after the 150 chickens, making sure they always had food and collecting and sorting their eggs. I also had the opportunity to cook and bake lots, which I enjoyed a lot. I worked alone quite a bit too, and really liked the independence. The whole experience was peaceful and rewarding. Thank you very much for having me, Jasper. I wish you and the kids all the best.

Karen and her family were incredible, gracious, knowledgeable and friendly hosts! We truly enjoyed WWOOFing on their beautiful farm and homestead and learned a great deal about biodynamic farming methods, raising sheep, native forest restoration and how to live in harmony with nature in a modern way. The apartment we had while working there was also wonderful and beyond all expectations. The week we were there went by entirely too fast. ;) We enjoyed working each day with Karen and our dinners together were memorable. We would return in a heartbeat!

I spent one and a half months at Ing.Borg and I really enjoyed it ! Magnus and Inger are very nice people, with a simple and grounded approach to farming, and to life. During my stay, I learned to take care of animals, which I was completely new to, and it was very enriching. I learned about biodynamic farming and plenty of other things ! (shearing sheeps, recipes, how to talk to horses, lots of diverse things!) The work is very flexible, mostly on your own. For example there are the daily chores such as taking care of the animals and plants, but depending on the interest you can focus on projects you are interested in. I left the place with lots of good memories, and I would definitely recommend to spend some time to go visit Faaborg and especially Svendborg !

I had a wonderful time with Annette and Ole. They were extremely warm and insightful for my 1.5-month stay. They always made time to answer my questions and made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible. It was an enjoyable time with them and I hope to return in the future.

I was at the farm for about 10 day in de middle of November. I had a nice stay there and the communication was really easy. You always knew what to do and you got the tools you needed for the tasks. The meals were delicious and shared all together. Their children are also really nice and the oldest one is always helping with work. I really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you Wiebke and Roul :)

Henrik and Mette are wonderful hosts, I had a great time staying with them. The work was an opportunity to see and contribute in a very respectful and interconnected way to manage animals and land, and I learned a lot with all that knowledge that was shared with me.

My experience at Christina’s farm was truly special. During the busy harvest season she guided me and the other volunteers through hemp cultivation with so much passion and patience. You can really feel her connection to nature and the rhythm of the seasons. The sleeping space was spacious and comfortable and waking up in such a peaceful oasis was exactly what I needed. Even with lots of rain, spending time on this beautiful island was amazing. Thank you, Christina for your kindness and openness. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily recommend volunteering here :)

I had a great time at the Himmerlands boarding school! Maria is a lovely and attentive host, and there was a good variety of tasks to do both on the farm and in the kitchen (we harvested a lot, planted seedlings, made the beds ready for winter). There were plenty of breaks and the food was great! The accommodation was in a WWOOFer house, which was lovely -- a good kitchen, cozy living room and comfy beds for sleeping. The other staff / teachers were friendly and open, though often the conversation would happen in Danish which sometimes made me feel a bit excluded.
