I was at the farm for about 10 day in de middle of November. I had a nice stay there and the communication was really easy. You always knew what to do and you got the tools you needed for the tasks. The meals were delicious and shared all together. Their children are also really nice and the oldest one is always helping with work. I really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you Wiebke and Roul :)

Henrik and Mette are wonderful hosts, I had a great time staying with them. The work was an opportunity to see and contribute in a very respectful and interconnected way to manage animals and land, and I learned a lot with all that knowledge that was shared with me.

My experience at Christina’s farm was truly special. During the busy harvest season she guided me and the other volunteers through hemp cultivation with so much passion and patience. You can really feel her connection to nature and the rhythm of the seasons. The sleeping space was spacious and comfortable and waking up in such a peaceful oasis was exactly what I needed. Even with lots of rain, spending time on this beautiful island was amazing. Thank you, Christina for your kindness and openness. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily recommend volunteering here :)

I had a great time at the Himmerlands boarding school! Maria is a lovely and attentive host, and there was a good variety of tasks to do both on the farm and in the kitchen (we harvested a lot, planted seedlings, made the beds ready for winter). There were plenty of breaks and the food was great! The accommodation was in a WWOOFer house, which was lovely -- a good kitchen, cozy living room and comfy beds for sleeping. The other staff / teachers were friendly and open, though often the conversation would happen in Danish which sometimes made me feel a bit excluded.

I spent two weeks with Kim and Stinne, and it was amazing. The time flew by way too fast. I really wish I could have stayed longer ! The work was varied, and the different shifts made each day feel unique and interesting. The house we stayed in was great, with everything we could possibly need. Stinne is a fantastic cook lunch was always delicious. Kim is absolutely lovely and happy to share his skills and knowledge in the workshop, along with beer tastings that were always a highlight. Definitely one of my best woofing experiences !

I don't think that Samsø Bryghus needs more good reviews to convince you how great this place is! I will instead use my review to tell you that you should cherish every moment that you spend with Stinne and Kim, because they are wonderful people who have a lot of things to share, so be interested and ask them anything that comes to your mind! An important thing to consider is the timing of your stay, and how that will change your experience. You'll most likely have a more social time in the summer, filled with beach trips and sunny days, but my time in Oct/Nov was not so bad either (for me). As long as you don't expect the wrong things, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for this wonderful week on your farm. We learnt a lot of things and the atmosphere was so nice. We played Ticket to ride, ate a lot of very typical Danish food and had fun with the students. We already want to come back...!

I had a cosy and peaceful stay at Bjerregaarden. Primarily I picked apples every day which was tiring but enjoyable. Signe was very nice company and she and Mads were great hosts and great cooks, always accommodating for dietary restrictions. The whole environment was very wholesome and it was lovely to see a slice of Danish family life. The backyard and orchard are beautiful and I loved exploring it and finding many delicious apples to eat :) Thank you !

Femø is one of the most lovely places I visited, even though it was “off” season. After work every day I walked around the island even if it was raining— it was just so beautiful and calming. I came during the harvest so the work consisted of bringing in the plants from the field and trimming them, which was quite relaxed as well. The days went by quickly too as there was always company around, whether it was other wwoofers or Christina’s friends and neighbors. I really enjoyed talking to everyone while we worked. The outdoor campsite could get pretty cold and rainy this late in the year, so cooking and eating outside was a bit of a struggle, but very pleasant when we had sun. The stars were also a highlight of Femø - I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many. I would highly recommend this place which I found to be a good mix of community and solo time. Christina was a caring and funny host. I hope to return in the summer one day. Tak!

I loved my experience at Himmerlands Boarding School! I only got to spend a short time with the students since I was there during the October holidays, but from what I saw, the school’s atmosphere is amazing, with super nice teachers and students. I really enjoyed working in the garden, where there’s a great variety of vegetables. The tasks ranged from taking care of the animals to harvesting and preparing vegetables for the school kitchen, as well as doing different jobs to get the garden ready for winter. Maria is super friendly and welcoming, always happy to share her knowledge. The food and accommodation are of great quality. I wish I could have stayed longer and I’d go back without hesitation! :)

I have spent two weeks at Annette & Martin's farm in October, and it was an inspiring and varied time. I really enjoyed their hospitality and company. Annette and Martin are such nice people, always willing to answer your questions or help you with anything. Annette even picked me up at 7 a.m. at the bus station in Odense. The work was definitely doable, and I had enough free time to explore the area. The silence here was overwhelming. There are mainly fields in the area, but there isn't much real nature and there aren't many hiking trails, so if you want to go for (long) walks, you sometimes have to walk along the side of the road. During my work, I picked cherry tomatoes and peppers, emptied greenhouses, and painted wooden beams on the farm wall. On weekends, I had time to go to Odense (Denmark's third-largest city) or take a long walk. And last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
