"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous." - Aristotle Fortunately for all, I cannot copy/paste the 800 page novel of my experience, I trust this quote suffices at maximum volume. Thank you Mette + Henrik for sharing your peaceful little slice of heaven and immense knowledge. It was an unforgettable experience that has successfully ruined normal life for me, because it is all I think about since leaving. Your farm not only affirmed my initial expectations of extraordinary, but went beyond to become something powerfully idyllic only found in works by Monet, Van Gogh, or one's dreams. The charismatic abode worked synergistically with mother nature, flourishing depths of inspiration, reflection, and appreciation for life. It revealed itself each day as the true epitome & embodiment of pure idyllic serendipity. In a world where creativity, wonder, and awe are routinely pulverized and stuffed into the depressing sausage casing of society, thanks for rekindling these instead! Thank you for your patience & proving simplicity to be the ultimate form of sophistication. No amount of words can describe how grateful I am for the opportunity, and the highest privilege to learn from you both. Thank you for restoring genuine humility & unconditional respect for life's simplest things back to me. I cherished every second we spent together and can't wait for when we meet again!!

Jakob and Olivia are very kind people and they are open and flexible about your plans for your free time. It's all matter of agreement.     The farm offers comfortable and cozy place to sleep and cook for yourself. Work on the farm involves caring for chickens, rabbits, pigs, and other livestock, as well as tending to a garden filled with herbs, fruit, and vegetables.    The location is very close to the beach. The small town of Ebeltoft is also really worth a visit. I spent a week there, and it was an amazing experience; I got to see what farm life is like, I got an inspiration of how life can be lived and I became a part of it for that week.

Im not gonna lie Mette and Henrik really felt like my parents. They’re adorable. It is a peaceful and loving experience even if the Wwoof thing tells me to only speak about factual stuff😭 Not that much work, a bit repetitive so like I said, peaceful. Every morning after a good (!) (with handmade stuff) breakfast I moved bunny cages and I gave food to chickens/sheep. The afternoon I could move by car with Henrik to check other fields. Or clean shit haha. I usually finished my work early in the afternoon. You’ll probably have one day per week to relax like I had. Remember to not get attached to those beautiful cute animals. And don’t worry you won’t have to kill them yourself. Important ! Just in case, don’t consider to be there to do tourism, there’s like nothing in the area. You’ll be able to enjoy Copenhagen on your rest day. You have beautiful landscapes though. I think they are intelligent, carrying, curious people. I really hope I will be able to see them again. (Im not even saying all that under pressure I promise) See ya Henrik and Mette take care :)

It was my first woofing experience and it was the most enjoyable and life-growing experience. Juelie is the most beautiful human beeing and dedicated woman. She will teach you how to work with love. We were always busy doing something and something different every day. I learn so many recipes and working techniques (wood work) as well as harvesting all kinds of berries and herbs and of course I weeded and watered the plants. I was looking for nature only and her place offered me the quietness that I was searching for. Her place offers peace and comfort. And if you like animals and flowers you will fall in love with this place just has I did. Juelie cooks the most delicious meals and she is always here for her woofers. I strongly recommend her place. I can assure you that you won’t feel the same person after this. Thank you for everything Juelie🍓❤️✨ I miss you. You know how special you are to me ❤️

This farm is a wonderful place with lots of flowers, herbs, vegetables, fruit, and cute animals. I spent a lot of time talking and learned many things from them. They gave us different jobs to do, and every task was interesting. They were also kind, flexible, and helpful. We usually ate dinner together with them. For breakfast and lunch, they provided us with ingredients so we could make our own meals. There is also a beautiful beach and a lovely town nearby, so you can enjoy sightseeing during your free time. I had a great time here and recommend.

As for our first WWOOF experience it was even better than our expectations. Juelie's land is beautiful, she takes very good care of it and understands it well, so we had the opportunity to learn many things. Accommodation was lovely, but the best thing was the darkness and silence, so we had truly high-quality sleep there. Regarding work, we tried many different tasks and Juelie was always willing to help us and advise us if we needed it. The best part of each day, however, was the evening. We had delicious dinners together (Juelie is a fantastic cook) and had really interesting conversations. The only problem we had, was getting used to a different daily routine (late start of work, late dinner) than we usually have, but after a few days we adapted and it was fine. One last thing - we really appreciated the opportunity to use bikes for trips. So, to sum up, we would definitely recommend it, if you are willing to accept different lifestyle you will have a great time.

I had an incredible five weeks on this farm! Heather is such a joyful and compassionate host who makes you feel truly cared for and at home. There is a wide variety of tasks, allowing you to learn and experience many aspects of farm life without ever feeling that a day is monotonous. Heather is always checking in to make sure you have what you need, and she cooks and bakes delicious treats and meals! She also has so much wisdom to share about life beyond farming. I will always cherish my time there!

Staying at Mette and Hendrik's farm was a great opportunity to learn more about Danish agriculture and the agricultural policies in Denmark. Most of the daily work consisted of basic farm tasks, such as feeding the rabbits, chickens, and lambs. Besides that, there were also a variety of practical jobs, including mowing the grass, trimming hedges, and helping to build a greenhouse. This made the work diverse and enjoyable. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were shared in the kitchen, which was also a nice place to relax, chat, and unwind after work. The working hours were fair, and the beautiful landscape surrounding the farm, together with the stunning sunsets, made it a wonderful place to stay. For someone who is already an experienced WWOOFer or familiar with farm work, two weeks may be a little long, as the range of tasks is somewhat limited. However, for someone staying for about a week, or for people with little farming experience, it is an excellent opportunity to learn about farming and experience life on a Danish farm. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to anyone interested in agriculture, rural life, and experiencing Danish farm culture.

This week at Henrik & Mette's farm has been fantastic! I've been able to look after the animals, pick fruit, and help out a bit with the greenhouse renovation. They're a wonderful couple who really take care of you, even helping you remove thorns from your feet ;) Thank you both for these days; it's been a pleasure meeting you and sharing this time. Who knows, maybe we'll see each other again soon! I 100% recommend the experience at their farm.
