I´m a spiritual, very practical eco pirate, looking for helpers to opperate the ship ;) Are you keen on natural materials, woodchopping, working in the garden, picking berries and small building talsks and wants to help, you have come to the right place.  I have a small newer food-garden, and grow mushrooms in periods. My son (10 years old) and I are selfsufficiant with fruits and berries for juice and jam, and other vegstables. I´m also a bee keeper, but is unfortunately without any this season.... And have chickens for . And Moskus ducks for eating the slugs - and laying eggs. The nearest town is Vig - 8 km. Lots of fjordbeaches in the area. We live in ecovillage ’Fri og Fro’ (Free and Happy) which started in 2005. I live in a conch shaped (spiral seashell) house, where I still need finishing stuff in it. The Conch house is made primarily from nature material and re-used materials.  I am certified into permaculture and have know-how related to sustainable houses. Specially with strawbale and clay houses - as my own.  I´m am aiming at living as organic and sustainable as possible. Accommodation: Mostly The Conch house rooms upstairs. We are normally eating with willagers 1 times a week in the comunal house, but not in holidays. I can accommodate 1-3 wwoofers at a time in the Conch - depending on the period. I´m a vegetarian, but eat seafood at times. I´m a non-smoker – so no smoking in-doors. Wooffers work 5 hour a day one free- day pr. week and take turns with cooking and cleaning. We live in a wonderfull ecowillage, filled with good people and interesting houses in all shapes and materials. We are around 30 grown ups and 30 kids in the ecovillage. My son and I loves music. My voice is my instrument and I love jamming. He plays the guitar, piano, and we love improvising. We are also into akroyoga and basketball. Varm bearhugs Poula-Line and Nanur Ah Oskar Organic methods: We are a homefarm, producing mostly household selfsuficciant produkts, in a permaculture approach. Certifications: homefarm Current projects: This summer gardening, woodchooping, berriepiccing, juice and jam, honny making... Indor wormfactory. mushroom making. Internet access available

Stay with Poula if you get the chance! She is such a kind and friendly host. The house and the ecovillage were such a treat to experience, and I loved my tasks. I visited in July and spent four days mostly picking currants and chopping/stacking wood. Thank you Poula! I hope to be back again someday :)

I didn't have the chance to work on this farm, but there happend a mistake when I thought I declined the offer and then at last I realized I actually didn't. I didn't mean it in a bad way and I understand the consequences, but I apologized and that's all I'm able to do in the moment. I'm new to this app and I just didn't know how this works. I hope this will not lead to any hate and again I sincerely apologize.

I had a wonderful stay with Poula’s family. The house and the village itself is so unique and full of character. I appreciated how much care was put into getting to know the eco village, the jobs I could help with (moving logs, making apple juice and plum chutney with the home grown fruit) and i enjoyed the time I got to spend with them too! I felt very welcome and will miss being there for sure. I can only recommend. You’ll have the best experience if you are someone that is able to have an open mind.

My experience at the Conch House was very positive. Poula is an incredible host who organized numerous activities after work, including guided tours around the Ecovillage, campfire, and acroyoga session. I felt very welcomed and integrated into the life here throughout my one-week stay. The Conch House is beautiful, filled with interesting details at every corner, and is a pleasure to stay at. The work hours are very flexible, allowing me to distribute them however I wanted throughout the week. My main tasks included berry picking and pruning tree branches, which was straightforward and easy to do. Overall, my stay has been truly memorable, filled with enriching experiences and wonderful people. I would highly recommend a visit here!

My 2 1/2 week stay at Poulas Conch House was fantastic. To see and be accomodated in that amazing house was a great pleasure in itself but my stay had so much more to offer. Poula is the friendliest, most considerate host I could imagine. Also she is full of knowledge and insight and I've had some of the most interesting conversations with her. Her son Nanur Ah is adorable and full of energy. The work was varied and interesting: wood chopping and stacking, some berry-picking, but the coolest thing was being part of setting up Poulas edible mushroom production. So glad to have been part of that process! Poula also really takes the time to make you feel welcome and appreciated outside of working hours. There were trips to the beaches, to the museum, and she gave me a tour of the surrounding eco-village, explained it's extraordinary buildings, and gave some insight into the villages organisation and structure. There is so much more to say - but this review will just turn more and more into a eulogy. I'm deeply greatful for my stay, I highly recommend it. That's really all I have to say. Thank you for everything Poula, and much love!

My stay at Conch house was informative and magical. Poula and her son were very welcoming and open. Expectations were clear 5 hours a day with a free day and mostly chopping wood, and moving some soil for me. We ate each meal together and they showed me local events and the beach 🩵 It was a wonderful and beautiful stay, highly recommend!
