I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend on Hubert and Bodil's farm, it's such a peaceful, beautiful place filled with life. It was my first time doing WWOOF but if you decide to come here, you will not regret it. I learned so much in the three weeks I was here, saw more than I thought I ever would, and felt very connected and happy. Thank you Bodil for your patience, kindness, and banana cakes. Thank you Hubert for your guidance, jokes, and making me feel at home. This is a wonderful farm, if you enjoy being active or doing activities then it is the place to be. I am no longer 60 :) Thank you again Bodil and Hubert, I already am missing it, and I hope the summer is fun and prosperous.

I have had the best time ever wwoofing at Bodil and Hubert's. They made me feel so welcome, took me everywhere (I had a lot of fun at gymnastics, water aerobics and the sauna!) and shared their culture and their language. Work was varied, I prepared beds and pots, sowed, did some gardening for their friends, cleaved wood, weeded, fed the chicken, and even if it was February and quite cold i was comfortable as Hubert lent me a fisherman suit and rubber boots.
Hubert was always around to tell me what to do and answer all of my questions. Another plus is that Bodil is a very good cook (and a knitter!). The island is beautiful and if you want to go for a walk, there are walking trails around the house. I highly recommend wwoofing at their place, you will have a wonderful time!
Thank you so so much for all the lovely moments we shared and I will be coming back for sure.

I spent nearly 3 weeks with Bodil and Hubert in January. I had a great time. I arrived and there was a good layer of snow, but we still managed to work outside: cutting trees, making wood fires, working in the greenhouse. I was lent warm clothes to work outside, so I wasn't cold at all!
The accommodation was beyond what I needed. I had my own warm and comfortable room. There are lots of lovely walks around the house, just follow Ibis (the dog) who will show you the way.
Another wwoofer, arrived soon after and we found a good rhythm working together. I really recommend this place. They introduced me to the island and many activities outside the farm. I had the opportunity to meet their friends and chat with lots of people.
Thank you very much for having me, I hope we can meet again soon,
xxx

I spent one month in winter at Hubert and Bodil's farm and it was one of the greatest experience that I ever had!
Bodil and Hubert are so nice, welcoming, friendly and interesting! They have so much stories to tell and activities to make you discovered. They brought me to any of their activities, the Monday gym, the Wednesday water aerobics and the Fridays walks that maked me discovered all the island. You will never be bored!
The daily work at the farm was really various (cuting firewood, building stuffs, preparing the soil for the spring, painting...) and not as hard as I was expected in winter. Hubert always explains very well so I learned a lot!
There is a good balance between work and leisure which makes me so much enjoyed my stay!
Bodil is such a good cook and makes me like stuff I usually don't like ^^ Her cakes are delicious, you must try!
Thank you for everything Hubert and Bodil ♡

I had a wonderful time on Bornholm with Hubert, Bodil and little dog Ibsi. Three beautiful souls in their own garden of Eden. It was my first time as a wooffer with very little experience in farm life. It felt like that did not matter . I helped clear the fields of weeds, planted new bulbs, walked the dog, fed the chicken and painted the windows of the tiny house in the garden. We also helped a neighbour farmer harvest his potatoes. It was wonderful to be outside all day and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of Bukkelykken in my spare time. While there I had my own room in the main house and all meals were well taken care off and delicious! Luckily Hubert and Bodil are still very active and love to engage in water aerobics and yoga classes, otherwise I would have gained another kilo or two! Dear Hubert and Bodil, thank you very much for welcoming me into your lives. It was great to see how loved you are in your community and how little things can make a big difference. It was very special to me and I hope our paths will cross again in the future.

It was a pleasure to meet and live with Bodil and Hubert!
They are so kind and open minded and with that create a place where people come together.
Their house and garden is wonderful, too.
You can do anything, f. e. gardening, painting, collecting flowers etc. and we had a great balance between work, breaks and activities.
Tak♥️
