Family farm
South Denmark
We are a couple with grown up children, so we got space to have up to 3 people stay and work with us, at our organic farm. I am a cook and my partner is a teacher and landscape engineer.
We have 2 single and one double room for volunteers. We are highly interested in cultural exchange. We gladly show volunteers the beautiful surroundings of Kerteminde or take them for a trip to Odense, when we find the time. We are eating and preparing lunch and dinner together. For breakfast, you have to help yourselves, because we often are up earlier.
Martin, as a teacher in Politics can tell a lot about Danish society and how it works. He is also very interested in international politics.
At the moment we have some construction work on the main building, where we also could use some help sometimes.
Certifications: State controlled organic
Current projects: Start the winter season, with seeding and, soil management and mm.

October 2025
I have spent two weeks at Annette & Martin's farm in October, and it was an inspiring and varied time.
I really enjoyed their hospitality and company.
Annette and Martin are such nice people, always willing to answer your questions or help you with anything. Annette even picked me up at 7 a.m. at the bus station in Odense.
The work was definitely doable, and I had enough free time to explore the area.
The silence here was overwhelming. There are mainly fields in the area, but there isn't much real nature and there aren't many hiking trails, so if you want to go for (long) walks, you sometimes have to walk along the side of the road.
During my work, I picked cherry tomatoes and peppers, emptied greenhouses, and painted wooden beams on the farm wall.
On weekends, I had time to go to Odense (Denmark's third-largest city) or take a long walk.
And last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

Annette and Martin are the coolest hosts I've met. They were wonderful to be around, creating a warm sense of camaraderie between themselves and the volunteers. Both are excellent cooks, and every meal felt like a celebration of good company.
During my stay, my main task was harvesting different varieties of tomatoes. We worked together as a team and then gathered around the table to share meals, which made the experience feel genuinely special. I even came back for an extra week because I enjoyed it so much!
I highly recommend this farm, it strikes the perfect balance between meaningful work and collective joy.

Spending two weeks at Annette and Martin's farm was not nearly enough time. I wish I could have stayed longer. You will never be bored because there's so many things you can do in Kerteminde and on the farm. They treat you with such respect and kindness, and a little humor too. It's both invigorating and relaxing. I got to work in a greenhouse for the first time, and we also did so many different tasks like planting seeds, or little plants in the field, and getting tomatoes ready. And Annette is the best cook ever, you will leave with ten pounds more because she is just the best. There's bikes you can ride to Kerteminde which we did all the time with the other volunteers. Thanks so much Martin and Annette for accepting me on the farm, I'm so happy I got to come even for only a little bit.

This summer was pepper picking, with tomatoes, aubergine, and zucchini. The host's do their best to coordinate a pickup, make great dinners organize event viewings, and welcome wwoofers for cultural exchange.
English is easily understood and everyone is very fluent. The farm itsself is beautiful with numerous projects going on. Annette and Martin have realistic and beautiful goals they're working towards, and there is always good snacks to be had.
A short bike ride away is Keterminde with fjord beaches, shops, post offices, and small events. Bedding is provided, and laundry is do-able.
I'm looking forward to hearing how everything has gone this October, and honored to have met the two return workers and Annette and Martin. You all gave me hope and inspiration for how to safely live in this world.

I stayed at Annette’s and Martin’s cozy farm in January this year. It was so nice to get out of Cph and spend some time in the country and sow few thousand chili seeds ! Thank you so much for this time and great dinners. I recommend your place, perhaps better in the summer !!!!

I had a wonderful time at Annette and Martin's farm. I was only there for a week and I am planning on returning! I picked and packed wonderful aubergines and tomatoes! Kana (another Wwoofer) made some great ketchup. Kana's Ketchup! It's super tasty :) Annette and Martin are very welcoming and hospitable. Great meals, conversation, knowledge and experience of growing, cooking and life. Kerteminde and the Fyn area are beautiful parts of the world! Thank you for the experience Annette and Martin and hope to see you soon!
