We are (by Danish standards) a small farm of 24 ha where we have both forest, grain, grass, vegetables, fruit, hops, a greenhouse, goats, pigs, chickens, dog and cat. In addition to this, we also have a brewery on the farm where we make beer, a wood workshop, a cafe and shop. our idea with the farm is to make us as self-sufficient as possible in the cafe, the brewery, the workshop. Since we do so many different activities, there is something to do, on the farm all year round, so we are therefore open for wwoofer all year round. In the field, you must sow, plant, weed, harvest, build fences and pick fruit, pine needles and hops In the cafe/shop, a lot of vegetables have to be washed and chopped, cakes and bread baked, meatballs fried, rye bread spread, served and washed up. and pack vegetables for sale in the stall, put labels on beer and boil syrup in addition, there will be maintenance of buildings. When you are here. we try to get you involved both in the field and in the cafe. so you both help produce the vegetables and the meat and help transform it into food for the customers in the cafe. if you have the opportunity to be here 1-2 months or more, you will have the opportunity to try many of the skills, and see coherence in our farm. if you are here for a short time, there will also be many things you can learn. when you come here you work 5 hours a day for 6 days so there is plenty of time each day to get out and see the island. it is different what time of day you start, as it depends on the task you have to do. we try to make a plan for 1 month at a time. but since much of our work depends on the weather, there may well be changes. we have two farms that are about 300 meters apart, we, the cafe/shop, workshop are on one The wwoofers live on the second, here there are 7 rooms, a large shared kitchen and living room, there is free internet. for the most part you can have your own room. but if there are many wwoofers there may be periods when there are 2 in a room. In the summer, there are many wwoofers who want to stay with us, so you will often get to share a room with another wwoofer. we cook in the middle of the day, and the wwoofers themselves cook breakfast and dinner together from the food they get from us, (most of the food we eat comes from the farm's own organic production) We have bikes you can borrow. So in your spare time you can cycle around and see the island there is approx. 500 meters to a good swimming beach, 1 km up to our shelters where you can camp. The island is about 25 km long, so you can reach it all by bicycle You are always welcome to write and ask if there is more you want to know In winter, we can have 1-3 Wwoofer. In the spring and autumn , we can have  3-5 Wwoofer. In  summer we can have 10-14 Wwoofer About us We are Kim and Stinne We have moved to Samsø for 25 years and we have run organic farming for more than 30 years. We bought the farm where Samsø Bryghus with cafe and shop is now, 20 years ago, and have built it up form old stabels , to what it is now whit brewery, kitchen, cafe, workshop etc with the help of our children. We have 5 children who have all moved away from home. and 4 grandchildren. in the day-to-day it is Kim who takes care of the brewery and the fields and Stinne who takes care of the cafe/shop and the animals here in addition to Kim use his teim in the workshop, with wood work and Stinne use time to knit, weave spindles etc When you are planning to travel to us here are some good links https://www.tilsamsoe.dk/en/ferry-to-samso/ https://www.samsoelinjen.dk https://www.rejseplanen.dk/webapp/?language=en_EN#!P|TP!histId|0!histKey|H413796 https://samsoebus.dk/telebus/?lang=en Certifications: stats kontroleret økologisk Internet access available

I had four wonderful weeks at this inspiring place on this beautiful island and made a lot of positive experiences in the cafe, on the fields and in the wwooferhouse. Stinne and Kim are lovely people- I enjoyed nice talks in the kitchen, the beertastings at Saturday and long walks with dog Emma to the beach. Thank you guys and all the best for you! Hope to see you again!

I spent almost 4 weeks at the farm and I really enjoyed it! Stinne and Kim are both very hard working, nice and incredibly patient people. They make sure that your working days are varied and they have a lot of trust in the WWOOFers. I even had the honour of becoming a chickenmom🤩 The Island is unbelievably beautiful no matter where you go and there is a beach nearby, where you can also go swimming, if it’s not too windy. And eventhough the Island is small there are a lot of things you could do, like visiting Aahrus, going to the Northpoint, going for walks with Emma, building something in the woldworkshop with kim and not to forget enjoying a beertasting every Saturday🍻 I met very nice WWOOFers, which made the time fly by! I will treasure the memories forever, thank you!

My two weeks on Samsø flew by too fast. I had already visited this beautiful island two years ago and it immediately stayed in my heart, but this incredible experience made it even more special. It was my very first WWOOFing stay and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to start. At first I was a bit scared because my English isn’t perfect and I worried I wouldn’t be able to communicate well with the hosts or the other girls. Instead, Kim and Stinne were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive from the start, making me feel comfortable and creating a calm, safe atmosphere. The other volunteers welcomed me warmly and a beautiful connection formed right away despite our different cultures and routines. The volunteer house is cozy and well-organized, perfect both for sharing time together and having your own space in your room. One of the best parts was the sense of togetherness: cooking and having dinner together, sharing stories, and building genuine friendships. The work was varied and interesting: 5 hours a day in the fields, weeding, planting, caring for animals, and helping in the kitchen or café. Every day was a great opportunity to learn new things. In our free time there was plenty of opportunity to enjoy the island: the beach is just 5 minutes away, and we loved the bike rides, sunset walks, and relaxing moments. A perfect balance between work and discovery.I 'm truly grateful to Kim, Stinne, and everyone there: it was an authentic experience I will carry with me

Thank you so so much for everything. I’m truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for all the experiences and everything I was able to learn during my stay. It meant more to me than I can fully express, and it has been such a big part of my personal growth. I will carry these memories with me and never forget them. The beer tastings every Saturday after work were honestly one of the highlights of my time here. I looked forward to them every single week, and they brought me so much joy. Thank you so much, Kim, for those special moments. I’m also really happy that I could help at the café with Stinne, enjoy such amazing food, and learn so much from you. It was such a meaningful time for me. I truly hope the little forest Johanna and I planted will grow big and strong in the years to come. It would make me so happy to imagine that. Wishing you both happiness, good health, and all the best in the future. I will miss you all!

I had such a wonderful time with Stine and Kim. I learned so many different things during the month and really enjoyed my time there. The island is incredibly beautiful, and you can reach the sea in just 5 minutes. Thank you so much for the great conversations and the fun moments. I will gladly look back on this time.
