Hammersly is an organic community farm on the island Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. Since 2021, we have been part of an innovative cooperative farming model under the leadership of Bornholms Økojord A/S, which owns the farm and is affiliated with the local association Økobornholm. Through this partnership, we have gained access to 10 hectares of organic land, machinery, facilities and a large network on Bornholm. It allows us to focus on what we do best: growing organic produce while regenerating the earth and creating a deeper connection between our communities and the food on their plates.
Our core initiative is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, which is designed to provide local households with a constant supply of fresh, seasonal produce. This model is complemented by our on-site farm shop and partnerships with local restaurants, which ensure that our vegetables reach a wide spectrum of the island's residents and visitors.
On Hammersly we are 2 farmers and a various number of helpers. We are working with agroecological and regenerative methods, and we will love to teach you everything we know.
