For deep connection with land and people
Capital Region
Dear You,
If you resonate with our profile and what we stand for, please write to us and share something about you and why you want to come and live with us ! We love to exchange messages, get to know each other, and meet online to see if we’re a good match.
For us, it’s important to share our home with like-minded grown-ups — not necessarily by age, but by being present and engaged in the world. People who want to bring heart and soul to the land and are open to staying for more than just a few days.
A little bonus if you speak Spanish — Carina grew up in Spain and would love to speak the language again!
Who we are:
We are Carina and Alexander, creators of our holistic farm dedicated to arts and crafts (Alexander is a blacksmith and is working on getting his studio up and running) , food as medicine and storytelling ( Carina is a writer) .
Our focus is slowing down, healing relationships— both with nature and the nature within us.
Since 2023, we’ve been on a rewilding journey. We learn new everyday and the rewilding journey now, is being more nuanced - we are trying to figure out how rewildning and farming can go hand in hand.
We have tried no-dig the last couple of years, but this year we will dig in the soil instead of using cardboard and import soil from elsewhere.
In 2026 we need help with:
Making the woofer camper nice
Painting and renewing our tinyhouse/wagon
Prune and fence our dwarfappletrees
Dig in the soil and make space for plants
Plant perrenials
Get rid of grass and "weeds"
Painting the whole farm with chalkpaint ( never tried that before,... fuuuck)
Making a dedicated area for medical herbs
Building Alexanders blacksmith studio
Please write what you'd like to help out with and if you have any experience with the above.
Our family includes 2 cats, some chicks , 7 Ouessant miniature sheep, and 4 Galloway cows( live shere from may to oktober) who help us rewild the land.
We cherish honesty, kindness, and genuine connection, and we hope you do too.
Being part of our community means being open to self-reflection and growth as a human being.
(P.S. We speak Danish too!)
What you’ll do here:
Joining us for meal prep and dinners.
You’ll work alongside us with:
what mentioned above ...........
Weeding in the polytunnel and on the land
Learning seed-to-plant processes (especially if you’re here between Feb-April)
Planting trees (if you arrive in the fall)
Caring for chickens and sheep
Creating flowerbeds
Painting and building projects
…and plenty more.
We want you to enjoy what you do — so we’ll always find tasks that resonate with you and your interests.
A day in the life here:
It varies depending on season and weather, but expect a rhythm of meaningful work balanced with time to relax and enjoy nature.
What we love:
We live on Bornholm, a beautiful island in Denmark, with 11 hectares of land including ancient forest. Here, nature is abundant.
Our hobbies include kettlebelltraining and functional movement, dance, meditation, arts & crafts, cooking, writing, playing piano.
Around us, you’ll find excellent hiking, swimming, biking, and in summer, a lively atmosphere with tourists, festivals, concerts, museums, and lots of arts & crafts events.
If you feel drawn to this slower, soulful way of living and working, and want to be part of a loving, caring community — please reach out! We’d love to meet you.
