Organic vegetable production on alternative bording school

Hi Wwoofers! Flakkebjerg Efterskole is a wonderful place. A bording school of 170 students at the age of 16-17 years and 30 teachers, where sustainability, community and togetherness are our core values. We are an organic school, we grow our own vegetables, eat, stude and live together. The students contribute in growing the food and prepare the meals in our kitchen. You will be part of a living, loving community, with many difirent activities during the day and evening. The dayily work will include: Harvesting vegetables Seeding Weeding Planting Feeding chickens and ducks Collecting eggs Help in the kitchen with preparing meals. Preserving vegetables and fruits. Making jam, jucie, fermenting, baking. The accomodation is similar to what we offer our students. You will be part of our school community. We serve 6 meals a day. 3 Main meals and snacks inbetween. We eat together in our large community dining hall. You will get your own room in a areal reserves for volounteers, with a shared bathrooms and toilets at the hall. We love vegetables and the magic bussiling vibe at our school. Our main goal is to teach our studens about sustainable living and how to grow your own food. We nurish community and compassion for each other and nature.
