🌿 Join Us for a 2-Week Sustainability Festival in Boserup! 🌿 We are a school for children with special needs, which has established an ecological farm and lifestock. We live 5 km. from Roskilde and 35 km. from Copenhagen. We have an ecological apple plantation, a bigger plot with ecological vegetables for own production and two greenhouses. We have beekeeping, horses, alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, chicken and ducks. Besides our livestock we have dogs and cats. The nature around the school, the husbandry and ecological gardenfarming serves as a pedagogical platform for our students. From 24 June to 8 July, we invite WWOOFers to be part of a unique experience in Boserup, where we are hosting a small, vibrant sustainability festival. During these two weeks, you will live and work together with a community focused on permaculture, nature, and simple living. Our place includes a growing permaculture garden, work with bees, and various creative and hands-on activities connected to sustainable lifestyles. As a volunteer, you’ll help with daily tasks such as gardening, preparing spaces, supporting festival activities, and general maintenance. In return, you’ll gain practical experience, share knowledge, and connect with like-minded people from different cultures. We offer a friendly, open atmosphere where learning, sharing, and enjoying nature go hand in hand. There will also be time to relax, explore the surroundings, and enjoy community meals together. At the school there is a corridor with rooms, kitchens, bathrooms etc. You can come with your own tent or get a shared room upon specific request. Here lives a group og young people - employees, students in saving up, teacher trainees and volunteers. You will be part of this grope which has a social life together. Breakfast and lunch you will eat in the dining room of the school where also students and employees eat. ✨ Details: Dates: 24 June – 8 July (2 weeks) Location: Boserup, Denmark Focus: Permaculture, sustainability, bees, and community living Our website: rootsofconnection.org If you are curious, motivated, and happy to contribute, we would love to welcome you!
