Opportunity in Our Unschooling Community
Hi there,
We are a life-loving, family-oriented, unschooling community located in the south of Funen, Denmark. Here, we live with the natural cycles, recognizing that learning is an (inevitable) lifelong journey, and we are eager to experience life to the fullest.
This is our third year welcoming volunteers , and we are excited to continue this cultural exchange and collaboration. We invite independent and skilled individuals to join us on our land and contribute to our growing community.
Our community is fairly young, with roughly five years under our wings. We are based on a farm with small individual houses spread across the property, surrounded by forests, open areas, lakes, and fun infrastructure.
We are a group of 25 people, ranging from 0 to 60 years old, with many children among us.
• Weeding, woodchipping, and bush clearing with respect for biodiversity on our wild land
• Road maintenance (maintaining dirt roads)
• permaculture veggies Gardening
• Taking care of farm animals (only chickens atm)
• Helping with occasional community meals
• Simple building tasks (e.g., sheds)
• Occasional homeschooling activities with kids
While staying here you will be offered to sleep in a simple wagon, caravan or guestroom in our communal house. If you prefer, you are of course more than welcome to bring your own tent/camper.
Please note we are not able to welcome families at this time
Regarding meals:
• Ingredients are provided for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch every day. And dinner on weekends
• Dinner is served on all weekdays.
This setup provides both structure and flexibility, allowing you to enjoy the place while being part of the community.
We strive to live in freedom and integrity, balancing our individual lives and families with our community as a whole. We also organize events for ourselves, our friends, and the general public.
